A clearer picture of changing symptoms.
JointJournal is a student-created project for recording and reviewing health experiences over time.
What the project does
JointJournal helps people record pain, stiffness, fatigue, body locations, sleep, activity, sitting time, stress, travel, illness, medication events, and personal notes. Its history and Insights views make those records easier to review and discuss with a healthcare provider.
How estimates work
V1 begins with transparent provisional patterns that are being checked against published arthritis research. As someone records more information, their own baseline and history increasingly inform the estimate. Estimates include uncertainty and are not diagnoses.
Who built it
JointJournal was built by Shloka Mhaisekar, a student exploring how thoughtful software can help people understand and communicate longitudinal symptom information.
Important boundary
JointJournal is a student-created exploratory project. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose disease or disease progression, and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare provider.
